Co Founder and Owner
Coach Elizabeth “Beth” Lewis is a dedicated educator, coach, and leader based in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Originally from St. Louis, she is a graduate of Holt High School in Wentzville and went on to compete at the collegiate level at Central Methodist University, where she became an eight-time national qualifier, five-time All-American, set three collegiate records in racewalking, and was inducted into the Central Methodist University Sports Hall of Fame. She was also named the 2015 Missouri Girls Track Coach of the Year. With over 30 years of experience in track and field, Beth has spent the past 20 years coaching cross country, girls swim, and girls track & field at Poplar Bluff, helping student-athletes grow both on and off the track.
Beth is a proud cancer survivor and has been married to her husband, Nathan, for nearly two decades. She is the owner and co-founder of FAF Timing, which she built the idea alongside her good friend and fellow track coach, Jeff Mannon and her husband Nathan, combining their shared passion and experience to create a business dedicated to running efficient, athlete-focused meets. Her passion for the sport and commitment to excellence drive FAF Timing, where she provides fast, accurate, and reliable timing services while striving to create a fast, fun, and positive meet experience for young athletes throughout their sports careers.
Co Founder
Coach Jeff Mannon is a dedicated educator, coach, and entrepreneur based in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He serves as a Physical Education teacher and the Head Football and Boys Track & Field Coach at Poplar Bluff High School, where he builds his programs around discipline, accountability, and toughness. Known for his energy, organization, and attention to detail, Jeff is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His experience organizing meets and managing teams led him to co-found FAF Timing, a track and field timing company focused on delivering fast, accurate, and professional results for schools across the region.
Outside of coaching, Jeff is deeply family-oriented and stays busy raising his children alongside his wife while supporting their activities year-round. In addition to his work in education and athletics, he is also involved in the fireworks industry, helping organize and execute professional displays for community events. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or behind the scenes, Jeff is committed to leadership, organization, and making a lasting impact on the people and programs he serves.
Nathan Muse is a Southeast Missouri native, dedicated family man, and a key force behind FAF Timing. He has been married to Beth since 2009, and together they have raised two sons and share a daughter. Known as the “brains and flow” of the operation, Nathan plays a critical role behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly while also serving as the on-site handyman and finish line manager.
With nearly 30 years of experience in mechanics and construction, Nathan brings problem-solving skills, reliability, and hands-on expertise to every meet. His brilliant mind and ability to fabricate ideas into reality make him an invaluable part of the team. He has spent years supporting Beth behind the scenes throughout her coaching career, helping meet the demands of her programs and events. His vision and drive were instrumental in the creation of FAF Timing, turning an idea into a growing service for schools across the region. In his free time, Nathan enjoys building hot rods, hunting, and fishing.
Support Crew
Lybby Mannon is a Poplar Bluff graduate, devoted mother of four, and an active member of the school community. She serves as a librarian and assistant cheer coach at Poplar Bluff Junior High while also running her own photography business. Lybby is a key part of the FAF Timing team as an assistant timer and finish line manager, where her keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills help keep meets running efficiently.
Lybby plays an important role in keeping the team organized, on schedule, and focused, helping ensure each meet runs smoothly from start to finish. She married Jeff Mannon in 2014, blending their beautiful family together, and has spent years supporting athletic programs and events alongside him. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her daughters and son, always finding ways to create fun and memorable experiences with her family. Her energy, organization, and positive approach make her an essential part of the FAF Timing team.
